Meet Edward Ostermann, an experienced real estate professional with a strong commitment to helping people find their perfect homes. Edward, born and raised in San Francisco’s Forest Hill neighborhood, started his journey at the San Francisco Day School and later attended the Dunn School in Los Olivos, near Santa Barbara.
Edward earned his undergraduate degree in Film & Video Production from the Brooks Institute of Photography. He also spent some time studying in Florence, Italy, adding an international touch to his profile. Following his studies, Edward worked in the film business in Los Angeles for over 14 years before returning to the Bay Area in February 2020. In May 2022, he obtained his real estate license, marking a significant career shift.
Currently residing in Petaluma, Edward has successfully navigated various real estate markets across the Bay Area, including San Francisco, Oakland, Alameda, Tiburon, and Sausalito. His approach is straightforward, no property is too big or too small, and he’s willing to go the extra mile to get the deal done.
Edward’s notable achievements include leasing the “Pine Street” property, a fully furnished luxury rental in Lower Pacific Heights that attracted a lot of international interest. Despite its competitive environment, Edward secured the perfect tenants at a favorable rate, showcasing his ability to navigate high-demand markets. Another success story was the Mill Valley property on Magee Ave in the Blithedale Canyon neighborhood, where he successfully closed a deal despite the challenging weather conditions, pleasing both the property owner and tenant. Both Pine Street and Mill Valley had owners who knew exactly what they wanted, and there was strong competition for these two properties.
Beyond these accomplishments, He also facilitated a quick and successful relocation deal for clients from Portland, finding them a property they were thrilled with within just seven days.
In each case, Edward went the extra mile to find the absolute best tenants, ensuring a perfect match between property owners and occupants. These achievements highlight Edward’s dedication to excellence and his passion for making real estate dreams a reality!!
Outside of real estate, Edward’s interests include photography, a passion he developed during his film school days. With a background in screenwriting from Los Angeles, he brings a creative eye to the real estate landscape.
On a personal note, Edward looks forward to marrying his long-time girlfriend and continuing their love story that began in San Francisco. Professionally, he aims to expand his portfolio in Sonoma County, always maintaining a focus on excellence and client satisfaction.
